I’m Ginny Carter, and I’m on a mission to turn you from everyday expert to respected thought leader and in-demand speaker with your book. I love, love, love writing and it frustrates the hell out of me when I talk to people like you who have great books trapped inside them, all for the want of some targeted help.
Communication has always been my thing – I was in marketing for 22 years, including 3-4 years as a freelance social media manager. By posting and tweeting on behalf of my clients, I learned how gifted I was at capturing their voices. So I decided to up my game, put my natural writing ability to more substantial use, and help them get their books out there instead.
I’ve ghostwritten books on a wide variety of topics, from HR to phobias. They all have this in common: they’re bringing their authors visibility, credibility, and bookability. Some of them have also been accepted by publishers such as Penguin Random House and Hachette, and my work as a judge at the Business Book Awards has helped me understand what publishers are after. I’m also a member of the Society of Authors.
What’s more, 50% of my author clients have asked me to write their next book. Now that’s not bad going!
